Filled - Network Administrator - PC Generalist - Florida Panhandle - Will relocate  - FILLED by Excel Technical !!! - Remote location Windows Network environment to a Southern California IBM System i5 Server with MAPICS XA and 3 LPARS. Be the sole IT person for this small Windows Network environment supporting 30 local employees, but tied in to a larger organization with offices around the USA. This newly acquired division has been set up as a remote site communicating with the Server in Southern California.  Wear many hats as you support daily communications with headquarters office via switch to the IBM System i5, run manufacturing and inventory, shipping reports, handle day-to-day PC issues, learn to support their phone system. This company only has 30 people at this location in Southern Georgia just 30 miles from Talahassee, Florida, 55 miles from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
    Should have the following skills:
    1. PC skills to troubleshoot basic Windows PC's and basic Networking, printing issues.
    2. IBM AS400 or Systems i5 Systems Administration or Computer Operations skills.
    3. Either basic programming skills (1 year+) with RPG or be willing to learn RPG programming.
    4. Any knowledge of MAPICS would be a big plus, but not necessary.
    5. Any knowledge of phone systems is also a plus.

Must be a self-starter and be able be a team player. IBM iSeries using RPG IV and BPCS software. Prefer a local candidate, but would consider out of state candidates. Small shop environment, but growing. Need to be a self-starter. Work with RPG IV, ILE and BPCS software. Shop is a great place to work, easy location to get to.
